It is our hope to provide the perfect fit for you and your horse, however periodically that will not be the case.  In the event the saddle you have purchased must be returned we ask that it be in clean condition, no scratches, horsehair or dirt on stirrups or elsewhere. If the saddle is not returned in "new" condition, you will have between 10-30% deducted from your purchase price.  You must also call for authorization prior to returning an item to Double O.  Thank you for your understanding.

T&F Saddlery
The 6 saddles currently available are Trooper saddles. An excellent trail - endurance saddle that works well for gaited horses too. The beauty of our trooper saddle is that it will fit a wide variety of horses and riders. Especially the high withered walking horses that a lot of field trialers use. These are quality saddles for a great price! The unique suspended seat offers unsurpassed rider comfort and ensures total rider satisfaction. An ideal choice for the endurance rider works well on trotting horses, gaited horses or mules. The extra flare in the front of the Bearer Bars accommodates horse with the need for extra freedom in shoulder movement. Overall length of our Bearer Bars is s 22 inches (actual hard surface on the horse's back), the felt extends to 24 inches, but does not affect the horse except as protection.

Why put on a new outfit, with your old worn out shoes? We feel the same about saddles! All T&F Saddles come complete with a Bridle, Reins and Breastcollar. Leather is a live, breathing substance. The only way to get a match is to cut all the accessories and the saddle out of the same hide. So that is what we do, and we include them in each saddle sale.

Louis Edward Nolan, killed in charge of the Light Brigade against the Russian guns at Balaclava in 1854. was responsible for the Army Universal Pattern (UP), the world's most successful saddle (the trooper saddle). Initially, the saddle was called the Nolan saddle and it is sad that the name was not retained as a memorial to the most advanced cavalry thinker of his time.
