Many, many changes in our lives during
2010. After serious consideration, I returned to school to obtain my
nursing degree. Just goes to prove you can teach an old dog new tricks!
Sold a few horses/mules this past year. Our mule Miranda is now living
in Saskatchawan Canada. Hope she’s enjoying the cold weather up there.
Jazz and Ivory are doing well in their new homes, and Gemma also has a
new zip code. We wish their owners many happy trails and lots of
enjoyment.
Our new line for the 2011 year is the Double O –Liberty. Liberty
saddles have been around for many, many years, and we’re very proud to
carry this fine Steele treed saddle. Check out the Double O-Liberty
page to see what’s new and exciting there. Excellent quality
for a reasonable price. (Dave and I selected the Wade and Plantation
for our Christmas gifts this year!) The Double O-Liberty will suit
gaited and non gaited alike.
Also new to Double O is the Shenandoah saddle line. Whether you select
endurance or the Chisholm trail version, you’ll be pleased. Excellent
warranty and very comfortable, with the Gel Seat. ( For the non gaited
riders)

At Double O Ranch-Tack, we feel

We are located outside of Palmyra,
Missouri, approximately
100 miles north of St. Louis. We’re a small ranch operation with
approximately
20 head of various breeds including: Rocky Mountains, Kentucky
Mountains,
and Gaited Mules.
With so many body types and riding
disciplines, two things
became apparent very quickly. Equine care and maintenance were
important,
and finding the correct supplies, which were cost effective, was a
must!
After much searching, we decided to establish ourselves with suppliers
who were able to satisfy our need for quality products and cost
effectiveness.
